Twekize na Muteguya is a vibrant and growing association made up of over 600 members. United by a spirit of empowerment and collaboration, the association is a hub of support, development, and enterprise.

Within the association, several member-led initiatives have been established to uplift and serve the community:

  1. Herbal & Complementary Therapies Research Team
    A team dedicated to the research and sharing of indigenous knowledge on herbal medicine. Members collaborate to explore, document, and promote the use of natural remedies for improved health and well-being.
  2. Twehumulize Omubizibu Byitu
    A wellness and counseling initiative that provides emotional support, motivation, and guidance to members facing personal or social challenges. It is a safe space for healing, sharing, and encouragement.
  3. Twekize na Muteguya SACCO
    Our Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO) allows members—and even non-members—to open accounts and save with us. Through the SACCO, we promote a culture of saving, financial literacy, and access to affordable credit.

Together, these ventures reflect our commitment to economic empowerment, mental and emotional well-being, and community health and development.
